From Grace to Red Shoe Courage

We all experience peaks and valleys in our life. Where ever you are now, are going or have been in the past the significant growth from the peaks and valleys comes from attitude. Through grace, courage is the gift of growth to become the persons we are meant to be. What is Red Shoe Courage? Red Shoe Courage is being yourself, loving who you are, loving what you do, identifying personal value, and loving the people around you.
Through a monthly series, together we will forge a new beginning for prosperity, happiness, and Red Shoe Courage for 2012 and beyond. We will reflect on grace received, gratitude for those who have picked us up, handed us a tissue and a glass of wine, making us laugh until we cried and letting us be ourselves.
·        The first step is to reflect on the grace-filled life in the peaks and valleys. Make a list of grace and gifts given to you in all ups and downs.
·        Grace and gratitude gives us the gift of courage to evaluate personal goals, desires, and the ability to give grace to others.
o   Make a list of everything you do or touch in a week and month. The list will create synergy as we move through future exercises.
o   After completing the list, mark  and identify what each activity contributes:
§  Value – Adding value to others
§  Growth – Adding value/growth to self
§  Big Picture – Adding value for growth, success, and value for the future
·        At the bottom of your right column add the number of value, growth, and big picture items on your list.
As we continue to break down our lists in more detail, we will start seeing a pattern for growth and opportunity.
 Sincerely, Red Shoe Courage!
